On the Eve of the Day of Epiphany, when we celebrate the coming of the Wise Men to the infant Jesus, I heard this insight over the PA of a local purveyor of unnecessary retail goods:
…I don’t pretend to know what you know
Now please don’t pretend to know what’s on my mind
If we already knew everything that everybody knows
We would have nothing to learn tonight
We would have nothing to show tonight
But everybody thinks that everybody knows
About everybody else but nobody knows
Anything about themselves
Because they’re all worried about everybody else…

Wow, that is deep for a trip to Target!
Love the tag “epistemic humility”!
Is this the same guy who did the soundtrack to Curious George?
This is a test comment, for development…disregard…
