Google vs. Serendipity

December 29, 2008

After some concerted– and unsuccessful– google searching, I finally found what I was looking for by accident. At The Great Emergence, Phyllis Tickle was raving about an article in a Fuller Seminary publication authored by noted emerging church sociologists Eddie Gibbs and Ryan Bolger. Well, it is even better than that, since it features some great articles by true practitioners. Most notably the hilarious Nadia Bolz-Weber and my man Troy Bronsink (whose article is quite amazing, as he shows Presbyterians (PCUSA) in their own documents that church is meant to be ‘provisional’). It’s compelling stuff– almost enough to make me consider joining the establishment.Link
