With one of my girls in the early stages of pregnancy, and the other in the early stages of language acquisition, we have been gifted with some fairly lively interactions.
In response to her mother’s frequent complaints, Ella has learned to say, “Don’t throw up, Mommy!”
Reflecting the phrase that’s employed for bumped heads and falls and other temporary disasters, Ella has begun to comfort her mother by saying, “It’s okay, Mommy– Ella’s got you, ssshhhhh…” while hugging her and patting her on the back.
Pushing herself away from the table after devouring a big breakfast this morning, Ella put two hands on her belly and said, “Oh, I’m sick!”

Oh my gosh. She is so adorable.
That stuff is beautiful.
Oh the sickness. I’m so sorry for Stacy. It is nice, however, she can have an empathizer around.
Your girl is talking so well! I loved hearing her little voice last night. Precious.
She is going to be such a good big sister! xoxoxoxo Nana
