Good writing, with a strong point and with life oozing out.

Toward a Church Beyond Belief

June 15, 2008

In the midst of a busy week, I still managed to find a couple of gems on the intronets. They are both interviews, and both with authors of two of the very best books I’ve read this year– the kind of books that just keep echoing through my life and my thoughts. Both authors are brilliant, and astounding writers, and both are refreshingly stubborn about their intentions to keep their lofty ideas firmly rooted in actual practice. In the first, Sara Miles imagines a church without walls, and in the second, Peter Rollins contends for a leaderless church that exists beyond belief. Some seriously great stuff.
