Good writing, with a strong point and with life oozing out.

I have no idea how it started. It was perhaps a curiously raised eyebrow by one of us, followed by some slightly exaggerated sipping of coffee by me, followed by some overly dramatic ‘ahhhs’ that always follow the sipping of hot beverages in our home. But what followed that were snorts, then chuckles, then huge gales of laughter and gasps for breath. The Curly Girlie and I were caught in one of those vortexes of goofiness that leaves both parties hysterical and helpless.

She threw out some fake slurps and some goofy looks of her own, and I very nearly shot coffee out of my nose. The whole thing went on for several minutes, before we came to the mutual decision to desist for the sake of our sides. It was a beautiful, exuberant, wordless conversation of humor and love, and I don’t ever want to forget it.

Isn’t it amazing how God brings us, so opposingly, from dispairing grief, to bursting joy? It’s a great reminder of His presence! xoxoxoxox Nana

If I remember correctly, Max Lucado refers to these as ‘Eternal Moments’. Moments that you recognize are special, even when you’re in the middle of them. Thank you Lord!
