The sirloin I pulled off the grill tonight was thick and juicy, with perfect diamonds marking each side. Simply seasoned with salt and pepper, and so gorgeous that it took a minute to decide which was the ‘show’ side. We placed some pretty slices on our plates, and some little bites on The Girlie’s. She gobbled it up, but we’re not too sure she liked it: time after time, we would prompt her to say ‘steak’, but the response was something quite different. She got the first letter correct, but what followed sounded more like ‘hit’.
