Good writing, with a strong point and with life oozing out.

you can rake them, burn them, blow them
move them, drag them, pile them
compare them, keep them, admire them
take pictures of them and heap up words about them

but it’s not really Fall
until a wise person
makes you slow down
and shuffle through them

so your toes stir them
kicking them into the air
and they fall down again

    I’m going to mow them and let the lawn mower act as a lawn vacuum as it were. Then I’ll sit back with some of that good ol sassparilla and watch those leaves fall and fall again.
