I’m thankful for spring, and for a whole bunch of things to look forward to in April (which is guaranteed to be better than March):
This weekend, Levi is coming (and he’s bringing his parents)!
Oh, Easter. Man, do I need it.
The Scandrettes are visiting– each and every blessed one of them.
They’re gonna be hanging with Gospel and Mrs. Matt, which means I’ll get to relish an east coast/west coast mash-up of seven of my inner-city incarnational ministry heroes.
Mark’ll be doing some emergent cohort (DC and Baltimore) meetings related to the release of his new book, which for me means drinking a beverage and listening to his dulcet tones.
Laci Scott will be in town for a few days, seeing if she might move to DC (!).
My precious Eleanor’s baptism is on the 15th (and so grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends).
Right after that, we’re riding up with a bunch of friends, and meeting even more at the theo/philo/conversatio.
Ryan‘s new album will drop in the middle of the month. I’ve heard some of it, and it is delicious.
