Good writing, with a strong point and with life oozing out.

We’re leaving in the morning for almost two weeks of travel. First, we’ll be returning to the Emergent Gathering near Santa Fe, New Mexico. After going for the past few years, it seems like a solid step for us during a time of upheaval. As The Wife says, “when in doubt, do what you did before.” It will be great to catch up with so many kindred spirits, and to see some mountains, and to just hang out. The Kingdom of God is always tangible at Glorieta. And healing. I’m excited for Ella and her first Gathering.

After that, we’re headed up to San Francisco for about a week. To spend time with friends, and see the ocean, and poke around our old stomping grounds. It is hard to believe that we’re ten years gone. It will be good to be back, and in many ways, it will be brand new.
