Good writing, with a strong point and with life oozing out.
Oh, so much to say. First off, I hate it that you didn’t make it to Southern Cal in your whirlwind of travel. Second, there’s been a fair amount of talk of “pukey” Ella, but no one prepared me for that sunshine gorgeous smile. Thirdly, she looks like a champion traveler. Lastly, it’s really good to finally see your faces, too. Thanks for sharing your pilgrimmage with us – I mean that in a larger sense, of course. Hope the marathon on Sunday goes well. We’ll be thinking of you.
you three are such models…
Love you guys. I hadn’t read your blog in about a week, so it was great to “check in” and see visual evidence of your adventures on the West Coast, and read the spinning swirl of thoughts that you tease out and make beautiful here in this space.
Hi! Shelley Pagitt connected me to your blog – I’d love to be in contact via e-mail, if you’d like.
I’m a member at Solomon’s Porch (and used to live in D.C., too). My husband and I lost our first three babies, triplets, in 2003, after several years of infertility. I’m so sorry to read of your very recent loss, and am sorry that there are so many other bereaved parents out there like me who resonate with your grief. I hope you find putting things into words to be healing – it is very good for me to read your blog.
If it would be helpful to connect, please feel free to e-mail. And if not, no problem…I’ll stop by here and read anyway!
Hi Mike, You seem to be someone I used to know. I am sorrowed that there are people who used to know you that would like to share in your grief and express our sorrow at your loss. Where have you gone my friend?
A cool dude and his beautiful ladies. And a setting almost as lovely as they are. Thanks for sharing.
