That sound that might have been the rumbling of Will’s or my stomach turned out to be, in the end, actual thunder. Followed by a hard, steady shower. So inspired was I by hearing this refreshing torrent on the roof that I opened up the front door to listen to it through the screen door.
So now, each of us is enjoying our nourishment in turn: Will, w/60ml @ 30/cal/oz., me, with a turkey on wheat (light mayo, extra mustard), and the earth herself, with a deep and long drink of water.
