We’ve extended our stay in the apartment at HSC, and will probably spend at least a couple more nights here. It is a room with no window, no cell reception, and zero internet connectivity, so we’re a bit isolated. But Ella is sleeping and eating a lot (and crossed the ten-pound mark, to the joy and consternation of her parents), and Will is doing the same. The team is so pleased with his progress that they are talking about a the possibility of a potential discharge as early as next week (maybe) if he keeps up the good growth and breathing and eating trends. Their parents are sleeping even less than before, but are considerably happier and more adjusted. After two months of constant movement, it feels good to stay in one place.
I’m still writing some stuff, even if it’s landlocked on our sweet computer. I’ll post the whole mess when I get a chance.

Wow. Dear Mike and Stacy. I miss you all so much. I keep looking for your posts and am so glad that you have a bit of “stay in one place” time. Wow–Ella at 10 pounds already! And Will taking on his challenge with such gusto. Praying for peace, rest, energy, hope, and perseverance for all of you. Love you guys. Jackie B.
Mike,
What wonderful news. I am going to
pray that Will continues to improve
and that you all will be able to
take him home soon. It is wonderful that Ella is also growing
and gaining weight. I love you all
and hope everthing continues to improve with each new day.
Love to all of you.
