Good writing, with a strong point and with life oozing out.

This is me, doing my thing in my super-meta custom T-shirt (which the girl baptized today in her own stinky way). How pomo am I? Well, I took the photo with my cool (black) computer. (I’m not sure why the letters are in mirror image, and I refuse to read the directions…). The only thing you can’t see is my matching ‘Daddy Bag’, which is a sweet Kenneth Cole-esque, large, boxy, manly diaper bag. In it I carry said laptop, plus pens and important papers, changing pad, parking passes, keys, toys, CDs, clothes, blankets, and iced breastmilk.

The Wife hassles me regularly about the size and weight of the thing, but when we need batteries, a quilt, a camera, or another tiny plastic trash bag for a stinky diaper (or T-shirt), who has what we need? That’s right: Dad does.

And tomorrow, I’ll have an extra T-shirt in there, too.

I think I could take your post and copy it on Randy’s blog and no one would know the difference (minus the picture of course). Especially the line, “That’s right: Dad does.” Glad to see that you’re as humble as he is.
