Good writing, with a strong point and with life oozing out.

Morning Glory

March 6, 2006

Each day, I get up before the wife (ok, sometimes it’s just by a little bit…) to feed my head, check the blogs, and begin to think. At some point in each morning, the wife will climb out of bed, shuffle across the floor, and walk up to me to ask the same question: “are the babies any bigger?”

They sure are. Some days, I’m sure that they can’t get any bigger, but they always do. We’ve still got a couple months left (hopefully!), and I’m not sure where they can expand to. But I’ll be here every morning to check and see.

Where’s undercover couple week 8? Doesn’t anyone even ask what you guys do with your time other than count grams of protein? Is it possible that you are still actually undercover?

I’m glad to hear the babies are bigger every day. The babies! I guess maybe you’ve gotten used to that phrase . . .

Funny. I assumed ‘feed my head’ would be some profound devotional Web site or book cover or something. I’m kinda glad to see it was coffee. Hee.
