People are talking about preaching a lot these days. Some say that it’s dead, that it is deeply flawed, or are jetisoning this one-way communication in favor of discussion. And of course most others are preaching traditional sermons claiming that any departure from the traditional sermonic form (ie, the last couple hundred years) is heresy.
Me, I think that preaching needs some work. And my buddy Schuyler is doing it. He may not be willing to call it a sermon, but whatever it is, it is one of the best I’ve seen. Quite frankly, I’m jealous I didn’t write it first.
