Good writing, with a strong point and with life oozing out.

Ryan Sharp: A Review

December 2, 2005

The whole blogosphere is rightfully abuzz about The Cobalt Season‘s newest and (as far as I’m concerned) bestest CD. Ryan’s CD is straight up great, and I love to listen to it again and again. Right now, I like TwentyEight the best, but maybe that’s because I’m in a birthday state of mind.
Going on and on about his music seems a bit trite and overdone. So I’ll review Ryan the person.

When you have mixed feelings about Starbucks, there is Ryan.
When you need someone to trade U2 lyrics, there is Ryan.
When you’re looking for affordable fossil fuel…
When you feel like a beer…
When you’re looking for intelligent conversation…
When you’d like to watch someone send email, edit photos, and drink coffee simultaneously…
When you’re looking for a fashion statement…
When you want honesty…
When you feel cynical…
When you need hope…
And when the dogs you’re watching have diarrhea, there is Ryan.
