This is a boy who loves to read, pray, play games, shoot whitewater rapids, watch Monte Python, and beat up men twice his size and four times his age in his pool. He is full of life and excited about his future in this world.
And this week, he is away at a Christian camp, where he will be pressured to sign a compliance agreement to a set of rules he’s not allowed to view, where he’ll have to wear pants to chapel every day, and where he’ll have to fearfully avoid topics of politics and presidents. I imagine he’ll also be expected to avoid girls for the week, though he may not mind this too much.
But if you could, please pray that his time away will not quiet the work which God is doing in his life.
