My friends Ryan and Peter just got back from Africa, where they were shooting supplemental footage for their upcoming documentary, Border Jumpers. I’ve seen a bunch of the footage, and heard some of the music, and felt the story. It promises to be an informative and heart-wrenching film about the people and issues surrounding the controversial border between Botswana and Zimbabwe.
While they were gone, their editor, writer, and composer have been hard at work. Seeing all of these top-shelf professionals in a constant state of giddy expectation is quite infectious. And a great reminder of the power of story, and of people to help others by telling these stories.
…coming to a PBS near you on Tuesday, July 26.
