How’s this for a nice set-up? Why isn’t every workshop this posh?
Surrounded by windows, I set up my temporary molding shop today. Chamferred an edge on some simple three-quarter maple, sanded it down, and hit it with two coats of polyurethane (just one more to go). It was really fun to open up the grain and see that beautiful wood come to life. I can’t wait to see it when I get finished installing it.
As for the room… In spite of my campaign to make it a permanent shop, it looks like the homeowner will make it a sunroom/breakfast room. But at least I’ll get to install the mohogany panelling and casework.
